“Zambia is my Home” brings home an Award!
We are thrilled to have won a Silver Award for “Zambia is my Home” at the International Tourism Film Festival Africa, held in in Cape Town in May 2022, narrowly missing the Grand Prix Winner Tourism Section - Africa Competition 2022.
The International Tourism Film Festival Africa (ITFFA) honours all video content related to the tourism and travel industry. Founded in 2019, by Caroline Ungersbock and James Byrne to honour and promote works with exceptional and innovative content created today on all continents and seen and used on various platforms.
TV ads, promotional films, video campaigns, videos for social media, video blogs, documentaries, reports and TV magazines related to the promotion of tourism destinations, products and services are invited to participate in this exclusive and unique festival on the African Continent. In Association with the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT), ITFFA aims to contribute to stimulating the development and growth of the national and African audio-visual industry and, at the same time, to give visibility and recognition to the work of many talented men and women and integrate the global creative community.
“Zambia is my Home” is a tourism promotional campaign produced by Tony Barnett Productions in collaboration with Zambia Tourism Agency and Destination Livingstone, featuring Chisi Mbewe.
The viewer is invited to experience The Mighty Victoria Falls from Chisis’ point of view, a young lady who is local to Livingstone. Join her as she considers growing up in the land of sunshine and smiles in Livingstone, with Victoria Falls on her doorstop.
More than 3500 films compete each year for the title of the World’s Best Tourism Films. We are honoured to win this award and we would like to thank everyone at the 2022 International Tourism Film Festival Awards. Wish us luck with our 2023 entry!
